Getting started

Here's how to get going in online:academy — from login to your first click.

Signing in

You receive an invitation email with a link. Click it, set your password, done.

If you can no longer find the link: enter your email address on the login page, click Forgot password, and you'll get a new link by mail.

Setting up your profile

After your first login, it's worth completing your profile — other learners and trainers see your name + avatar in learning groups, comments and peer reviews.

  1. Click your avatar at the top right.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Upload a profile picture, add your name, and optionally a short self-description.

Changing the language

By default, the platform speaks the language set in your browser. To switch manually:

  1. Avatar at top right → Profile.
  2. Choose the language — German, English and further languages are loaded on demand.

Changing your password

  1. Avatar at top right → Profile.
  2. In the Security tab: enter your current password, choose a new one, confirm.

You'll see the minimum requirements for the password as you type — usually 8+ characters with a mix of letters, numbers and special characters.
