FAQ — frequently asked questions for learners

A collection of the questions we get asked most often. If you don't find your question here, take a look at the relevant feature guide — it often has its own FAQ at the end.

Login and profile

I'm not getting the invitation email. Check your spam folder. If it's not there either: enter your email address on the login page, click Forgot password — you'll get a new link.

I forgot my password. Login page → Forgot password → enter email → click the link in the mail → set a new password.

How do I change my language? Avatar at top right → Profile → choose Language. More in Getting started.

How do I change my profile picture? Avatar at top right → Profile → upload a picture. More in Getting started.

Courses

I can't find a particular course in the catalog. Three possibilities:

  1. Filters are set too narrowly — remove them and look again.
  2. The course is configured as "by assignment only" — it only appears in the catalog once the course has been explicitly assigned to you.
  3. The course simply isn't enabled for your company. Ask your trainer.

I can't enroll in a course — the button is missing. The course has the "by assignment only" mode. Talk to your trainer or manager. More in Taking a course.

I've gone through all lessons, but the course isn't "completed". Did you miss the minimum score in a quiz lesson? Repeat the lesson and confirm it with a better score. More in The course player.

A course has a lock icon on a lesson. Sequential course — finish the previous lesson first. More in The course player.

Mandatory assignments

Where do I see my mandatory assignments? There's a widget on the dashboard with all open assignments. More in Mandatory assignments.

Can I decline a mandatory assignment? No — the assignment comes from your trainer or manager. For content-related conflicts, talk directly to the person who assigned it.

What happens if I miss the deadline? The assignment counts as overdue, but you can keep working on it. The person who assigned it can see this. Speak up early.

Certificates and badges

I completed a course but didn't get a certificate. It's possible the course has no certificate template attached. Ask your trainer.

My certificate has expired. Take the course again, then you'll receive a fresh certificate. More in Certificates, badges and streaks.

My streak was reset even though I was active. Streaks count calendar days. If you have at least one activity on consecutive days, the streak keeps going. In doubtful cases, see Certificates, badges and streaks.

AI Tutor

The tutor tab is missing in the drawer. The tutor is disabled for this lesson or this course. Other lessons may have it active. More in Using the AI Tutor.

The tutor won't reveal quiz answers to me. That's deliberate — the tutor is meant to support your learning, not replace it. Ask it to explain the underlying topic.

Peer reviews

I submitted my work but hear nothing. The reviewers need time. You'll get a notification as soon as the first ratings come in.

Who sees my answer in a peer review? For anonymous assignments: only the assigned reviewers, but they don't know it's yours. More in Peer reviews.

Learning groups

I can't join a private group. Private groups are only accessible by invitation or link. Ask the creator for an invitation.

Do others see my progress in a group? Only if the group is linked to a course and you're all working on the same course. More in Learning groups.

Wiki

I can't create an article. You need write permissions. Most learners have read-only rights. More in The Wiki.

Notifications

I'm not getting any emails. Check Settings → Notifications — and is the mail in spam? More in Notifications.

Too many mails are arriving. Turn off the mail channel per notification type, leave in-app on. More in Notifications.

Technical

A page won't load / looks broken. Reload the page (F5). If that doesn't help: log out and log back in. If that doesn't help either: try a different browser or device. If it persists, contact your trainer or the responsible IT.

Does the platform work on a phone? Yes, the web application is optimized for smartphone and tablet. There is currently no dedicated app.

Which browsers are supported? Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.

My data — who sees what? Notes, bookmarks and tutor conversations are private. Trainers and administrators of your company who are responsible for your courses see learning progress and quiz results. Ratings and peer reviews are visible anonymously or by name depending on the configuration.
