Marketplace: rate courses and manage reviews

Companies that have licensed a course in the marketplace can review it. This shows other companies how the course works in practice. This page explains how to review as a buyer and how to see and answer reviews as a seller.

Not to be confused

These are reviews between companies in the marketplace. The stars that learners give after a course are something else, see Rating a course.

As a buyer: reviewing a licensed course

The company admin of the licensing company can review, and only while the license is active.

  1. On the learning platform open Sales & licenses → Marketplace → My licenses.
  2. On the license card click Write a review.
  3. Give 1 to 5 stars (required).
  4. Optionally add a headline and your experience as a short text.
  5. Save.

One review per license is possible. You can change it later with Edit review on the same card. Your review is visible to all companies in the marketplace, together with your company's name.

Where reviews appear

On an offer's detail page (Marketplace → Offers → Details) you see the average (for example "Average 4.5 out of 5"), the number of reviews and the individual entries with stars, headline, text and date. Your own entries are marked Your review.

There is no pre-moderation: reviews appear immediately. The platform can hide inappropriate entries. Hidden entries no longer count towards the average and the number.

As a seller: seeing and answering reviews

You find reviews of your offers on the detail page of the offer. Reach it via Sales & licenses → Marketplace → Offers and Details on your own published offer; your own offers are always visible to you. Company admins and content managers can answer.

  • A new review is announced by the bell in the application.
  • Reply writes a public reply from the seller below the entry. Everyone can see it under the review.
  • Edit reply changes it, Remove reply withdraws it; both are possible at any time.
  • As a seller you can neither change nor delete the review itself. For an inappropriate entry contact the platform operators, who can hide it.

There is currently no overview of all reviews of your offers in the seller dashboard. The detail page shows average and number per offer.

Frequently asked questions

I do not see a review button. You need the company admin role, and the license must be active. For expired or revoked licenses reviewing is no longer possible.

Can I delete my review? No, you can only change it. Contact the platform operators if needed.

Is my name shown? Your company's name appears, not the names of individuals.
