Notes and bookmarks¶
Notes and bookmarks are your personal tools — they are strictly private, no one but you sees them. Not even your trainer or manager.
Notes¶
Notes are attached to a specific lesson. They're ideal for thoughts, reminders, your own examples or summaries.
Writing a note¶
- Open a lesson in the course player.
- Click the drawer arrow or the note icon on the right to open the drawer.
- Activate the Notes tab.
- Type your text — the note is saved automatically, you don't need to save anything manually.
- The next time you open the same lesson, your note appears again.

All notes at a glance¶
Under My notes in the main navigation you'll find all notes across all courses, sortable by:
- Course (notes for the same course grouped)
- Date (most recently modified first)
Clicking a note takes you straight back into the lesson where you wrote it.
Exporting notes¶
You can download all notes as a PDF — grouped by course. Handy for exam preparation or offline review.
- Navigate to My notes.
- Click Export as PDF.
- Optionally: select only a particular course.
Bookmarks¶
Bookmarks are quick pointers to content you want to find again. You can set bookmarks on:
- Whole courses — e.g. a course you want to work through again later
- Individual lessons — a specific spot in the course player
- Wiki articles — see Wiki
Setting a bookmark¶
- Open the content (course, lesson or wiki article).
- Click the star icon (or the ribbon, depending on the context) — it turns yellow/orange.
- The content appears immediately under My bookmarks.

Managing bookmarks¶
Under My bookmarks in the main navigation:
- List of all saved content with a preview
- Clicking opens the respective content
- X or clicking the star again removes the bookmark
You'll also find wiki bookmarks in the wiki under Favorites.
Frequently asked questions¶
Does my trainer or manager see my notes? No, never. Notes are 100% private. Platform administrators have no insight into them either.
What happens to my notes when a course is deleted? Notes for deleted courses are removed along with it. If you want to keep important content, export it as a PDF beforehand.
Can I format notes (bold, lists)? Not currently — notes are plain text. If you need structure, built-in line breaks and bullet lists with dashes help.
I set a bookmark but don't see it in "My bookmarks". Reload the page. If that doesn't help, log out and log back in — rarely the browser cache gets stuck.
